Comparison Of The Effect Of Surface Conditioning Methods On The Bond Strength Of Different Zirconia Reinforced Lithium Silicate And Hybrid Ceramics To Resin Cement

OBJECTIVE. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect surface conditioning methods on shear bond strength (SBS) a resin composite bonded CAD/CAM materials.
 
 METHODS. zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate (Vita Suprinity VS, and Celtra Duo CD) hybrid ceramics Enamic, VE Nacera Hybrid NH) were used. 80 specimens from each material fabricated following manufacturer’s instructions divided into 8 groups according treatments. These were; Gr 1 (control, no treatments (K)), 2 (hydrofluoric acid H), 3 (H+ Silane S), 4 (abraded with 50-micron alumina particles A), 5 (A+ 6 30-micron Cojet sand C), 7 (C+S), (S). average roughness (SR) measured. Surface treated cemented cement (Panavia F 2.0) for testing adhesion using SBS test tested. Mean SR results analyzed by 2-way ANOVA type as independent variables. RESULTS. highest values observed in A AS groups. Both NH showed among found usually H HS surfaces. CD group (18,01MPa) followed (16,25 MPa) CS group. failure mode VS materials adhesive cohesive failures adhesive, mixed observed.
